A long black hooded cardigan designed around an asymmetric open silhouette, exposed construction and a continuous rope detail.

The front falls into long pointed panels, creating strong vertical lines through the body, while the shorter back keeps the silhouette dynamic rather than heavy.

A black rope follows the entire open edge of the garment — beginning at the lower point of one front panel, travelling upward around the hood and continuing down to the opposite front point. Rather than functioning as an added decoration, it traces and emphasises the asymmetric construction of the cardigan.

The oversized hood creates sculptural volume around the shoulders and upper back, while long sleeves balance the elongated front. Two external pockets are finished with additional rope detailing along their upper edges.

Made from substantial 320 g/m² French terry, the cardigan has enough weight to hold its draped shape while remaining soft and flexible.

For a long architectural silhouette, wear it over a narrow monochromatic base — a fitted top with straight trousers or a clean maxi dress. The open front and continuous rope detail draw the eye vertically from the hood toward the lowest points of the garment, visually extending the silhouette.

For a more relaxed look, combine it with wide trousers and substantial flat boots. Keep the layer underneath relatively simple: the asymmetric hem, hood, exposed seams and rope already provide enough visual structure.

Over a long dress, the different lengths create depth without interrupting the vertical silhouette. This works particularly well with the dresses from the same collection, where the exposed construction and dark tonal layering connect the pieces visually.

Avoid bulky scarves and large necklaces. The hood and rope already frame the neck and shoulders, and another strong element in the same area would compete with the construction.

Stylist's note: Don't try to make the two front panels fall symmetrically. The changing position of the pointed fronts and the continuous rope as you move is part of the design.
